About Us
Our Girls
The Bnos Binah student body is comprised of both local and out of town girls who attended a variety of Bais Yaakov High Schools and Seminaries. The common thread among our students is their sincere desire to learn and grow. Bnos Binah provides a comprehensive seminary experience for post high school girls and a superior continuing Judaic Studies program for returning seminary graduates.
Our Curriculum
Bnos Binah services students of various Bais Yaakovs across the globe. Our educational style is hashkafa based, which is relatable to all of our students. We do not give our students paper tests; the test is life itself and we are here to fully prepare the girls for life's challenges. As opposed to lecture style, as our staff is trained and interested in engaging the students, challenging them to think and make adult decisions for their lives. We encourage questions and facilitate the students to come to conclusions using advanced and mature thinking skills. It is common to see a student and teacher still in deep discussion long after the class has ended, just to make sure that a certain topic is fully clear and understood.
Dorming
Bnos Binah has a dorm in the heart of Flatbush for those who need the option. The Dorm Mother and Madrichot create a warm and safe place for the girls to call home. Right next to shuls, stores, banks, transportation and shopping, the girls will find every convenience they will need during their seminary year. Dorm events and late night shmoozes add to the growth of the year, rounding out the year of education and connections.
Seminary Schedule
Seminary classes take place Monday through Thursday from 9am-1pm. There are four classes a day, each 50 minutes. Breakfast is provided starting 8:45. Girls are encouraged and expected to have full afternoon schedules, either in college or at a place of employment. We do our best to assist our students in proper job placements for the year. A full year calendar will be provided on the first day of seminary.
Our Faculty
Our elite staff of educators, each with a rich resume of educational success, is dedicated to ensuring a potent learning experience and creating a comfortable environment for girls to ask questions and share perspectives. Our teachers take a personal, continual interest in the development and growth of each student and serve as exemplary role models and mentors. Their commitment to our girls goes far beyond the classroom, accompanying them on their journey through life.
College
Bnos Binah has partnered with Bellevue University in providing our students the opportunity to complete a BA in 18 months or less combining seminary credits with college requirements. Bellevue University is a fully accredited University which caters to the needs of Torah observant students. Classes and test schedules are coordinated with Shabbos and Yom Tov and the subject matter is agreeable with Torah Hashkafa.

Join us for a year filled with exciting trips and inspiring Shabbatons! Each event is carefully designed to create lasting memories and foster deeper connections. Our trips and Shabbatons take place in and out of Brooklyn, and they create bonding opportunities on a different level than in the classroom. Our Alumni
Asei lecha Rav- One of the biggest benefits of being in an American Seminary is remaining in the same time zone as your teachers long after your seminary year is over! Bnos Binah staff stays in touch with their students for years to come, sharing in their simchas and guiding them through challenges in life. Our Alumni Association keeps staff and students connected for as long as they need, with monthly shiurim and yearly shabbatons, where students can re-connect and keep the staff updated on their lives.
